Seat height

Height-adjustable seats for a comfortable sitting position, regardless of body height.

Seat depth

Check that the size of the seat is appropriate. The seat should be deep enough that the user can sit with their back against the backrest while leaving 50-100mm between the back of their knees and the front of the seat.

Back height

Height-adjustable backrest gives lumbar support and relieves strain on your back.

Synchronised tilt function

Synchronised tilt function in seat and backrest follows your movements when you lean forward or back.

Seat tilt function

Seat tilt function helps reduce stress and pressure on the back and thighs, and allows for better blood circulation.

Indicative weight rating

Maximum user weight proposed for each chair.

Comfort rating

Indicates total sitting hours per day (when taken with micro breaks).

Can I choose a different fabric color for my chair?

Selected ranges can be customised with the fabric of your choice. If you can't find the fabric you require, please speak to one of our furniture specialists and they can work with you to find the fabric that meets your requirements.

Types of leather

Full-grain leather
Refers to hides that have not been sanded, buffed or snuffed to remove imperfections.

Top-grain leather
Has had the 'split' separated away making it thinner and more pliable than full-grain.

Split leather
Is created from the fibrous part of the hide. Split leather then has an artificial layer applied to the surface and is embossed with a leather grain (bycast leather).

Bonded leather
Uses leftovers that are shredded and then bonded together with polyurethane binders or latex on top of a fibre sheet.

PU leather
Is a split leather with a layer of polyurethane laminated to the surface and then embossed.

CERTIFICATIONS

What does AFRDI mean?

Indicates a chair has been AFRDI tested and accredited. The 'Australian Furniture Reserch and Development Institute' (AFRDI) provides accreditation testing of products against the Australian and New Zealand standard under the Blue Tick programme. Tests of office chairs are based on the Australian standards AS/NZ4438: 1997 for height-adjustable swivel chairs.

Level 4
Denotes General Commercial or Heavy Domestic.

Level 5
Denotes Heavy Commercial.

Level 6
Denotes Severe Commercial.

Level 142
Rated for people up to and including 160kg.
