This has a lot more comfortable padding than the Lewis chair or the Replica Eames chair. I tried them all out in the store and selected this one because of the nice soft-feel material as well, and the fact it has a spring-loaded rocking-back feature. Quality is very good for the money, rolls easily, no creaks. I give it five stars because I bought it as an occasional use chair for the hobby room. I think the other reviewer has a good point in that if you were considering the use of this chair for hours at a time, it’s wise to step up to something bigger and more adjustable

Purchased this chair just over 2 months ago and I'm already considering buying another. There is very little to no padding on the seat of this chair, so it is not at all comfortable. If I don't move my legs every minute or so my legs start to go numb, which is something I have never experienced on a desk chair in my life. The curve in the chair looks like it would provide lumbar support, but no... sore lower back too, which worsens if I lean back. There is no real ergonomic support at all. It also creaks like crazy every time I even reach across my desk or shift my weight slightly. I am a uni student and not that heavy, yet the chair groans as if it's a teenager being asked to do household chores. I have come to realise that a desk chair, which I could spend 8+ hours in at a time during study, is an investment. I guess you get what you pay for!!
