No Good
I have been looking for a cheap compo mouse / keyboard,, as I cant justify paying nearly $200 for one, in the past we could get great ones around $80.
This keyboard is nice to type on and the mouse feels great in the hand, (most cheaper combos these days, the mouse is too flat). but this is where it stops.
1. the windows key is missing on the left side of spacebar but insttead its on the right side (unlike any I have seen, Why?)
2. by default the # key displays a £ symbol (there is no £ key on NZ keybooards), the @ key displays " and the " key displays @ not usual place on any keyboard.
3. on some devices the mouse, and others the Keyboard too, has slow tracking, making this unusable..
I would exppect your product department would test these before deciding to sell not wait for reviews. you need a better product in this price, I am sure there are other cheaper products you could source that arent this bad.
If i can find my reciept I am going to return this product after a month of frustration..
High hopes, overall bad product. .

Response from Warehouse Stationery
Kia Ora Michael,
Thank you for your feedback on the Tech.Inc keyboard and mouse combo. I'd like to apologise for both the delay in this response as well as for your poor experience with the product.
In my experience, the swapped around keys (i.e pressing # gives you a £ and @ is swapped around "), is indicative of the keyboard layout of the computer being switched from to English (UK). While they're both QWERTY keyboards, some of the symbols are swapped around.
Keyboards in New Zealand commonly use the English (US) layout. You can check your computer's keyboard layout by:
1. Pressing the Windows key
2. Typing "Edit Language and keyboard options"
3. Clicking on the three dots to the right of your preferred language and selecting "Language options"
5. Confirming that "US QWERTY" (or "NZ Aotearoa QWERTY" or "Maori QWERTY") are listed under "Installed keyboards" towards the bottom of the window. If not you can add them by clicking on "Add a keyboard".
7. If you see "United Kingdom", click on the three dots next to it and select "Remove".
I will pass on the feedback to our buying and sourcing team regarding the location of the Windows key, as well as the slow tracking. If the tracking continues to be an issue, please take them back to your local store with your proof of purchase and let them know it is faulty.

Frustrating sensitivity and lag issues
I do not recommend this product. There is a frustrating delay between typing on the keyboard and the text appearing on the screen. The keyboard also seems to have sensitivity issues with the keys - e.g. you might type something but nothing happens at all. I’ve tried using the keyboard on multiple computers but the same issues keep happening. I would have taken it back to the store but I’d lost the receipt.

Kia ora Raymond,
We're sorry to hear your poor experience with your keyboard!
If you can share the following with the store you bought it from, they would be more than happy to track down the receipt and help you out:
• The time/date of when you bought the keyboard
• The last four digits of the card you used
• The barcode/item number (which for the Tech.Inc Wireless Keyboard and Mouse combo is 9401056140114)

Tech Inc mouse Keyboard combo
This is reasonable value for money. The keyboard has a nice easy action, and the keys are easy to see. The mouse is really good and needs to be appreciated; it will not work unless the computer is switched on, and when the computer is switched off it will shut off after about 10 seconds to save the batteries.
What one has to do is switch the mouse on first, the laser will flash for a second and then stop, the mouse is not broken. Turn on the computer and the mouse laser will light up and is good to go. If one forgets to turn the mouse of after turning off the computer, it will automatically turn itself off as earlier mentioned. The actual performance of the mouse is exceptional with a very powerful laser and very precise positioning of the cursor. I have played several games with it, and it works admirably and is actually better than more expensive well-known brands. For the price I am very pleased with the combo and would recommend it as a good budget choice. Incidentally this review has been typed using both the keyboard and the mouse.

Great Value For Money
Have had this combo for at least 18 months now and has served me well during this time however mouse stopped working today (yes batteries replaced) and only other issue is some of the letters on keyboard have worn off. Apart from that when you consider the low cost it is definitely value for money as I use this every day!

Keep your receipt ... just in case
Works well until it doesn’t.
Worked fine for a few months, then stopped connecting with keyboard and mouse. Tried lots of solutions. Now it’s just another piece of e-waste. :(

Nice keyboard
Keyboard is nice to use as is the mouse and it is good value for money. The only down side is that the mouse is a bit vicious on the batteries if you forget to turn it off when not in use. I'm replacing the batteries at least once a week if not more frequent. All in all good value for $'s.

ok combo for a budget price!
so far so good - soft touch keys and sensitive mouse, for a budget price - you can't go wrong! could be a good option for a smart TV but I haven't done that yet, note: keys are closer together than my previous keyboard so I'm just getting used to that (extra letters in sentences etc)
