Help your cashflow with Zip

We understand times are challenging at the moment, and a lot of small businesses will be really feeling the impact. One payment option Warehouse Stationery offers which can help with your cashflow is Zip, which allows you to spread the cost of your business supplies over 6 weeks, interest free.

Zip accounts can currently only be created by an individual (not under a business entity) but you can be approved in minutes for up to $1,000, and as long as repayments are made on time you are not charged any interest or fees on top of the original purchase price.

Zip is available online and instore and you pay only 25% upfront and your goods are shipped / taken straight away, then you pay the rest over 3 fortnightly payments.

How Zip works:

You apply for a Zip account at Zip.co/nz or while checking out using Zip online at Warehouse Stationery. It only takes a few minutes to apply.

If you meet Zip’s criteria you will get an approved spending limit between $250 and $1,000. This spending limit will increase as you shop with Zip.

You shop as normal on and just select “Zip” as your payment option when ready to pay. Zip is available for purchases between $50 - $1,000.

You pay only 25% of the purchase price when checking out, and the rest over 3 fortnightly interest-free payments. These are automatically charged to your existing debit or credit card.

Zip purchases are interest-free. An $8 per week late payment fee applies if you miss a payment (capped at $40)

You need to be 18+ to shop with Zip and have a New Zealand debit or credit card.

The first time you shop with Zip you will need to wait two weeks before you can shop again.

They have an awesome mobile app on Apple and Android which allows you to view all upcoming payments, make manual payments, etc Just search for Zip in the App Store.

You can make payments early through the app at any time with no penalty or fees.

Zip will send you reminders about upcoming payments, three days before the due date and on the day. For more information on Zip and full terms and conditions see zip.co/nz
