Who you are and what type of business do you own?

What was the first thing you did when you realised the Covid-19 pandemic was about to affect your business?
Liaise with contractors and clients alike to ensure all current sites were safe and secure until we could return.
What are you doing now that you weren’t doing a month ago?
We’re spending a lot of time on the business which all too often gets pushed to the side. And restrategising to ensure we hold our position in the market and working with key contractors and suppliers to see where costs can be reduced to allow us to continually deliver our projects cost-effectively for the client.
What challenges are you concerned about in the weeks and months ahead?
We will return to the majority of our sites as soon as level 3 kicks in. Getting buy in from our contractors and clients regarding the policies to implement for working at level 3 will slow down production slightly, however we strongly believe that in order to eliminate the risks of getting and/or spreading Covid 19 it’s important we all play a part in this process to ensure a safe return to work.
A number of our projects scheduled for May, June, July have been delayed or cancelled until there is more clarity on the impact on the economy.
What opportunities do you see coming out of this situation?
Covid-19 brings new challenges daily. We are very much adapting our approach to the situation by recognising and catering to new opportunities as they arise - for example, we have had enquiries for de-fit works from landlords where the tenant has withdrawn from their lease, retail clients discussing options for self-service kiosks, and clients within the hospitality industry gearing up for an expected rebound in consumption once restrictions are lifted.
How can the community support your business?
