Who you are and what type of business do you run?

I am Adrian Woodliffe and I am the General Manager for Stratmore Construction Solutions Limited which is based in Naenae, Lower Hutt – for over 65 years the company has been manufacturing and distributing reinforcing, coating, waterproofing and adhesion solutions for concrete. Solutions which have been used on major and significant construction projects throughout New Zealand.

What challenges are you concerned about in the weeks and months ahead?

The biggest challenge for Stratmore is getting clarity around how quickly the construction industry can re-bound after the COVID-19 lockdown. The other challenge is doing our bit to sustain supply chain integrity to ensure that the construction sector does have a viable framework to support it.

How can the community support your business?

The ‘new normal’ implies that New Zealand needs to be more self-sufficient – buying local from a manufacturer like Stratmore (whether you are an architect/specifier, DIYer, builder/contractor or infrastructure company) will contribute to the re-building of the New Zealand economy.
