Who you are and what type of business do you own?
Steve Dean, The Event Works Group Ltd - event producers.
What was the first thing you did when you realised the Covid-19 pandemic was about to affect your business?
We knew early as had an event cancel in February. We reviewed all outgoing costs and reduced quickly, cancelling non-essential services. We set a time frame and a 3-step program for change as information came to hand. We spoke with our staff as often as we could.
What are you doing now that you weren’t doing a month ago?
Wearing slippers, meeting online, and learning from family!
What challenges are you concerned about in the weeks and months ahead?
Cashflow, and fear of the public not wanting to come to events at the end of the year.
What opportunities do you see coming out of this situation?

How can the community support your business?
We are a specialist in temporary flooring, hospitality, and outdoor marketing. We think differently every day. Ask for and go to events and we will keep you safe and well so you can enjoy yourself.
