Broke within the week. total waste of money!

Dead within days of purchasing. Shameful plastic waste!

Bought this PoS for the new school year, but it only lasted few days. Being familiar with electronic engineering, I opened it up to try and find the issue. Turned out there's no solar panel of any sort despite markings. There was only a small battery of CR2025 type (3V). Considering how the calculator is always on it chews throw the battery very fast, which is not economical at all. Flimsy construction too. Do yourself a favor and go for Casio.

The calculator itself functions quite well!

It appears this calculator is an example of "planned obsolescence" by the manufacturer. Although the original battery can be replaced, the calculator does not seem to function properly afterwards!

This issue was discovered when attempting to run this calculator on a new battery after the original battery had discharged. The correct new battery style/type was used so that is not the issue.

An expensive calculator! Given that once its original battery has discharged, the calculator doesn't work properly on a new battery, so the calculator has to be thrown out!

Waste of money!
